Darkening that grows toward the corners, pulling the eye back to the middle of the frame. The two sliders separate how dark it gets from how far in it reaches
| Control | Range | Default | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Darkness | 0 – 1 | 0.5 | How much to darken the corners |
| Offset | 0 – 1 | 0.5 | Pushes the falloff outward, so it starts later |
A low offset closes the vignette in tight around the centre; a high one keeps most of the frame clean and only touches the extreme corners
Vignette is the last colour stage in the chain, which means it darkens everything above it — a corner is dimmed after bloom, grading and grain have all had their turn
The vignette darkens colour without touching transparency, so on a transparent stage empty corners stay empty — it only shows where the avatar itself reaches them. Over a background image or a skybox it reads as a full frame edge
