Persona

Pixelate

Quantizes the frame into square cells, each taking the colour at its centre. Use it for a mosaic effect or to give the entire scene a pixel-art appearance

ControlRangeDefaultEffect
Granularity2 – 648Pixels per block

Granularity is measured in output pixels, so the block count follows the window: the same setting gives coarser-looking mosaic on a small window than on a large one. Past roughly 64 the frame is a handful of tiles, which is where the slider stops

Pixel Sampling

Pixelate works by snapping the sample coordinate to a cell centre rather than by averaging the cell, so it picks one colour per block instead of blending them. Fine detail disappears rather than smearing, which is what makes edges read as hard steps

It shares that stage with Subspace Glitch™, so with both on, the glitch tears a frame that is already blocked — the two effects can be combined
