A colour lookup table (LUT) maps input colours to output colours, storing a complete grade in one file. Persona supports the .cube and .3dl formats commonly exported by colour-grading tools
Choosing a LUT
Choose LUT… opens the Inventory under LUTs. Clicking a row applies it and closes; the button then names the table in use, with a bin button beside it to clear it
The LUT is active whenever a table is set — there is no separate switch. Intensity blends the graded frame against the ungraded one, from 0 (no grading) to 1 (the full table)
| Control | Range | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Choose LUT… | — | Pick a .cube or .3dl table from the Inventory |
| Intensity | 0 – 1 | How far toward the graded frame to blend |
Processing Order
The LUT runs after bloom and before colour grading, so the table also grades the glow, while the later colour controls fine-tune the result
A table registered from a plugin folder that later leaves the disk shows as Missing — the grade stops applying and the frame renders ungraded rather than failing
