Moving grain over the whole frame. It resamples every frame rather than sitting still, so it reads as film stock rather than as a texture stuck to the screen
| Control | Range | Default | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strength | 0 – 1 | 0.3 | Blend opacity of the grain over the clean frame |
Strength is a blend rather than an amplitude, so 1 applies the grain layer at full blend strength. The default of 0.3 adds a subtle grain texture
Grain runs late in the chain — after every warp, including Droplets — so it sits on the lens rather than on the glass. Rain running down a pane does not carry the grain with it
A small amount of grain can help hide banding in a dark, heavily graded scene, where smooth gradients tend to step
