VRM avatars can receive full-body motion over VMC Protocol. Use Enable Pose Tracking in the Pose Tracking section below face tracking. Pose tracking supports VRM only, and the panel displays a notice when the scene has no VRM avatars
Applications that send VMC data are supported: VSeeFace, Virtual Motion Capture and mocopi among them. Persona is a pure receiver — the sender does the solving, so no calibration is needed in Persona
Persona includes one source of this type by default
Setting It Up
- Pick a VMC Protocol source under Pose Tracking, or make a new one with Add Pose Source…
- Tick the VRMs it should drive under its Assign Avatars, then turn Enable Pose Tracking on
- Point the sending application at your computer's local IP and at that source's Port,

Ports
Each VMC source needs a different receiving port. Sources are identified by port rather than sender address, and entering a port already used by another source restores the previous value to avoid a binding conflict
Other VMC applications may also use 39539. Persona reports an error if the
port is already occupied. Change one application’s receiving port and update
its sender’s destination port to match.
Alongside Face Tracking
Pose tracking has its own status line, reading the same off / waiting… / tracking values as face tracking. Face tracking can run at the same time — the face keeps coming from the phone while the body comes from the mocap app, each channel through its own sources
A VRM belongs to one source per channel, so one avatar can take its face from a phone and its body from a mocap app at once. A VMC source's Assign Avatars list holds VRMs only
A webcam assigned to the same avatar's hands adds wrist and finger rotation on top, while VMC keeps the shoulders and elbows
If your sender is a Sony mocopi, its own protocol is the shorter path — one conversion fewer, and no application in between
