OBS mode is what puts danmaku on the stream, and it works with any streaming software that supports a web source (bilibili 直播姬 included). The whole configuration lives in the link, so all it takes in OBS is a new browser source with that URL pasted in
This page is about getting the widget into OBS. For the reverse — driving OBS from the LAPLACE Chat dashboard, switching scenes and managing the stream — see OBS Integration
Usage
- Pick a connection mode — the comparison lives on the home page under 弹幕被打码如何处理?附连接方式对比, which is written in Chinese only
- Set the room to monitor — paste in the room URL or room ID. If you are on the Open Platform (幻星) connection mode, paste your identity code instead; it sits in the bottom-right corner of the bilibili 幻星 home page
- Adjust the configuration — if the defaults do not suit you, change them on the home page. A preview with test data sits on the right, and you can also preview against a live room
- Copy the widget link — click Copy OBS Link at the bottom of the page, or select the whole link in the field and copy it by hand
- Add it to OBS — open OBS and add a Browser source. Paste the URL into the field in the dialog, then set the size; 400 wide by 500 tall is a good starting point and can be adjusted to taste. Finally, paste any custom CSS into its own field
In OBS you can right-click the widget source and choose Blending Method - SRGB Off for better semi-transparent rendering
Recommended Settings
- Size — 400 wide by 500 tall to start, then adjust for your layout
- Font size — 20px by default. 18 - 24px is recommended for 1080p, 32px for 2k, then scale the widget in OBS
- Page permissions — Auto Dark Mode and Scene-Based Styling both require the browser source's Page Permissions setting to be Read access to user info (current scene collection, transitions)
Styling
Custom styles reach OBS one of two ways: paste the CSS into the browser source's Custom CSS field, or turn on cloud loading — which spares you from copying a long stylesheet into OBS and keeps the style up to date on its own. Both can be used together, and custom CSS always overrides the cloud-loaded template
See Templates for the details
Notes
With Login Sync enabled, the OBS link carries your sync key. Never share that link with anyone
- On the Open Platform (幻星) connection mode there is no one-click copy button — select the link above and copy it manually
- The link in OBS does not update itself after you change a setting. Copy the new one and replace the URL in the browser source
- Danmaku in OBS mode carries no timestamp, by design. To show the time on stream, use LAPLACE Clock
