Intro

LAPLACE Comet is a desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux, built for managing bilibili DMs

It supports QR code sign-in, multiple accounts, real-time message push, desktop notifications, image sending, and message recall. Credentials are encrypted in operating-system-level storage, with no reliance on any third-party server

Features

• QR Code Sign-In: Scan the QR code with the bilibili app to sign in; credentials are encrypted in the system keychain
• Multi-Account Management: Add multiple bilibili accounts, switch between them quickly or by keyboard shortcut, and reorder them by dragging
• Real-Time Message Push: New DMs arrive over a persistent WebSocket connection, and the conversation list refreshes the moment one lands
• Desktop Notifications: A system notification appears when a new DM arrives while the window is unfocused; click it to jump straight to that conversation
• Image Sending: Send images by picking a file, dragging, or pasting, with a preview to confirm before it goes out
• Message Recall: Recall a message you have already sent
• Do Not Disturb and Pinning: Set Do Not Disturb state and pin order per conversation
• Automatic Updates: The app checks for updates at launch, and you can trigger a check manually from the About page
• Follow System Dark Mode: Light and dark themes switch automatically, with nothing to configure

All stable releases are signed and notarized. Download only from official channels. If your system warns that the app comes from an unknown source and is unsigned, delete it immediately and report it via Discord

Security

• All credentials and data stay on the local device and are never uploaded to any external server
• Sensitive credentials are encrypted by the operating system's secure storage: Keychain on macOS, Credential Store on Windows, and Secret Service on Linux
• No data collection or telemetry of any kind
• Stable releases for macOS and Windows are signed and notarized
